1 in 3 new small businesses fail within the first year of starting their business. It’s not enough to have talent; knowing how YOU need to show up in your business is what takes you from hobbyist to heart based business owner.
In my experience, all of this eventually leads to photographers feeling isolated, in scarcity and making one too many mistakes, costing you time, money and energy (that you don’t have) which holds your business back.
Soon enough, comparison ends up running the show and both you and your business suffer.
You end up relying on generic free resources and groups that aren’t specific to your unique business, or overpaying for private mentorship without a supportive community to lean on behind the scenes.

Hi, I’m Belle
As a wild advocate for women supporting women, I created the Camera Queens because I know how lonely it feels to have to pave your own way with no support.
I had to learn the hard way, making plenty of mistakes, investing thousands of dollars and hours in countless mentors and putting a lot on the line to turn my passion into a potent, six figure business.
In the end, it wasn’t just the education or the networking alone that made me successful…
It was the support and strength of the community I worked so hard to create around me, that helped me feel seen, safe and held enough to embody the truth of who I am as a photographer.
Because it doesn’t matter how good you are behind a camera or how much potential you have. The power and impact of your work will only ever be as successful as how you feel when you show up to it.
Whilst I had to do it the hard (and long) way, I became an award winning and published photographer, co/founded several initiatives and inclusive community projects, built a powerful social media presence, and launched potent photography workshops and courses, all whilst the breadwinner of my family and a mother of two.
As a fierce advocate for photographers having the tools and support they need to thrive, I just knew I had to create something that the industry hadn’t seen before; something that I so desperately needed at certain points of my career. A community where authenticity and collaboration are at the forefront, and you’re free to focus on what truly lights you up!
